Together with a sizeable chunk of the Telco world, the Fulcrum team were in attendance at Fira de Barcelona for this year’s Mobile World Congress. The Congress is the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry with 1300 companies in attendance and over four days, attracted more than 50,000 visitors.
In addition to taking the opportunity to meet up with many of our customers from the global world of Mobile, our team took in news and demonstrations of a range of new technology and innovations.
A host of significant developments were unveiled at the show and some of the Fulcrum team’s favourites included Microsoft’s announcement of Windows Mobile 7, mobile banking innovations such as those demonstrated by Sicap, some fascinating and novel ideas for mobile in rural areas and some very interesting presentations by CBOSS. The new “App Planet” exhibition was also an eye-opener and we were delighted to make some very interesting new friends there.
